hi,
After saving my project as .avi, I encode with the above to mpeg.
My question is: When bringing the mpg back in VS to burn, Do you still keep project setting the same or has that changed sinced I used a stand alone mpeg encoder?
Like to know if I am defeating the possible better quality I got using TMPG by reverting back to original project settings.
And, if I don't "keep projest settings" the same as original capture settings, do I just bring in the mpeg to burn without modifying anything like compression settings etc?
Thank you for any expirience with TMPG/VSP9
TMPGEnc encode then burn with VS9 question

Understand.....
thanks///
I ran the project thru UVS to render and convert to mpeg.
I did the project again using TMPGC to convert to mpeg.
After burning both to dvd I can see a difference in quality.
Converting thru UVS looks very good after being burned to disk.
Converting thru the stand alone avi to mpeg software looks even better..
Not like night/day but a bit sharper and clearer..
[which may be due to TMPGC doing 2 passes on conversion...]
I'm sold on stand alone AVI to MPEG software..
thanks///
