Auto Start

Is there an "Auto Play" in PS4? Where I can put in a burned DVD and the DVD will start by itself, starting with the "Menu", then go to the "Slideshow" after that? This way no one has to press play. Also, can I copywrite the DVD so it can't be copied by someone? Thanks.

Unfortunately the answer to both your questions is no.

Glad to see you have used Nero 7, michaeltee, my only problem with Nero 7, is the inpurt on the lastest version isn't working correctly for some reason. When I input DVD's, it is coming in as seperate clips instead of one video clip. I want to add moving text now, but I don't know what happened to their way of bringing in the input disk. Did they change it, or is it an error? I wrote them, but I'm still waiting for an answer. I have used their autoplay many times, I'm sure PS4 will come up with it sooner or later, and moving text and a way to input disks on a saved mpeg. That would be nice. Thanks for your help.

I just saved the slideshow to mpeg. I kept the resolution at 1200 instead of the 800 I usually do for Nero. It worked this time. Since I already created the DVD now, I'll do this for the future ones and use the Autoplay in Nero with the PS4 menus. Two software products to create one slideshow, crazy...
but it gets the job done, that's the main thing. I just downloaded the free templates for the menus, know of anything else free from PS4 I can get?

That was the only freebie I'm aware of however as you may have already discovered you can use any suitable image as a menu background by selecting "Background Image" > "Add An Image File" from the "Menu" tab in PS4. If you search around you might find some web sites with free DVD backgrounds or photos you could crop to the proper dimensions.
