Sugestion: Ulead, develop support to .TIVO format.

Ulead Team,

 I'm amazed you guys still didn't develop support to .TIVO format. It is the most fancy video format of the moment and that is what everyone is looking for. It is painfull to transfer shows from TiVo via wireless through the software Tivo Desktop (which is a great feature, by the way) and then not be abble to do anything with it because the are no video editor softwares that support it. It would be the greatest step for Ulead Video Studio if in the next version .TIVO was included in its "family".

:) I realy hope that can happen so we can all love Ulead VS even more.

Thank you
Lele

Other than licensing issues there's no reason why they couldn't do that.

this is tedious as H..., but it works. 1. use DirectShow Dump to convert *.tivo to *.mpg - gives a non-standard mpg file type that vs8.0 can't read; 2. use NeroVision to quick-trim the mpeg, then export to new mpeg-2 file (w LCPM audio). THAT mpeg file can be seen/edited by VS8.0.

Lele,
We are not the software developers of Video Studio. Sometimes we wish we were so that we could fix a lot of problems. Send your suggestions to www.Ulead.com Technical "Support".

Load the Tivo file into VideoReDo and save it as an MPG file.

Load the new MPG file into VideoStudio.
