I have captured a movie from VCR composite input with both MF5 and then I tried MF4 that came with the hauppauge pvr-150 card. It always shows just a bit over 1 minute of video( ehne I use the "I" button. Yet, when I play with an external player it is the full movie. The file is mpg2 and just over 5GB.
What is happening?
I have tired putting a time of capture in, over 2 hours, and just letting it capture and stopping it when done.
This has me puzzled.
Thank you, take care, Randy

Re: captured video shows 1.x minutes in MF4 and MF5, plays 1
I followed the turorial, and reloaded MF4 with the update and Hauppauge drive update, I had already done this, but just to be certain, I repeated the process, so that I could use MF4 which came with the Hauppauge pvr-150 capture card as suggested. I followed the tutorial and one of the captured video pieces showed about 8 minutes, the rest showed less than 2 minutes. All of the settings shown in the turorial were set, as they were before. I can play the 5 plus GB files fine with realplayer, etc. I can use them in Nero ultra 7. In fact I trimmed the video in Nero, which was complete in Nero and exported it out of nerovision version 4. I then brought it into Ulead MF5 and added chapters and menus. But then when I created the video, it said the video was not compatable, after about an hour and one half of processing. I had gotten this message before, but I thought it was Ulead's writer, as when I wrote the video files and image I was able to write the vidoe and image files from Nero.dickinsonr wrote:I have captured a movie from VCR composite input with both MF5 and then I tried MF4 that came with the hauppauge pvr-150 card. I am now trying Nero to see if I can get a dvd out of it; but I am still puzzled.
Thank you for the prompt reply.
