Could you please describe your problem again? It looks like you don't have a problem and can't believe it :?

Are you making an "Audio-Only" disc, and having problems selecting a track (or skipping to the next track) :?:

If i understand what the problem is it is that you have a number of music videos that you have compiled to one DVD. If you want to be able to skip to the next song when you set up the menu the start of each song must also match up to a chapter point.

Is this what your problem is and is that what you did :?:

With VS8, you can do it two ways. The first is to keep all your separate songs on separate video clips. When you go to the burning stage (Share> Create Disc > DVD), you then insert each of your separate clips. This way, when you create the menu, each song will have its own separate menu button, and you can use your remote control to jump between the titles, though you may have to return to the main menu to do this.

OR, if you first join all your clips together into one video file, when you go to the burning stage and insert that single file, make sure you select 'Add Chapters' when you go to build your menu. On the Chapter selection page, you will need to choose to insert the chapter points manually at the start of each new song. Then when it is burned, you use the remote control as you normally do to jump between chapters, or in this case songs.

Hi Ken Berry

thanks for that reply.

how i made my first dvd, i got to the burning stage (Share> Create Disc > DVD), and i draged the video clips in one by one, and then clicked on next till it was the final part (burning process), and the dvd came out like that. did i miss something in the settings maybe?

like i can search the tracks through the menu fine, but is there a way to skip tracks while viewing the dvd?

Not unless your videos are chapters, as I described in the second method above.
