My problem sounds similar to Marions and I followed the directions to go to Tools, Change device control etc but I still get the message "Either no video capture driver is installed in this system or no device is connected" After I tried the directions to select device control and change plug in to MS1394, I got a message "Unable to open specified device, please check if device is ready" I know I have a Digital Video Camcorder SC-D351 and I just bought and installed the Ulead VideoStudio 10. online download. any ideas what I am missing, I'm with Marion in that my computer knowledge is scant at best. Any suggestions please. Thank You--Amber

I've checked your manual and you have an IEEE1394 firewire output..
You should therefore follow the advice given here.
