VS9 was pretty simple to use. So when I finished I had a DVD and the MPEG file on my PC. A bonus !!

Direct-to-DVD versus capture to PC first observation.
I have been using Capture Wizard which goes direct from source to burn DVD lately. Just copying some home movies. I could not find any settings to burn in "HQ". It only burns in SP (2 hour mode). Well I just did my first ever video capture with VS9. So I captured from the source, then did a SHARE to DVD and used the HQ option to burn. Well...I figured going to PC file first may degrade things...but I was happy that it may even be better since I was able to burn at HQ instead of SP. Hurray.
