Downloaded the flash patch - VS9 no longer crashes but flash is
still not working. I get no visual when any of the flash animations
in the program are selected. Only a black screen with nothing
happening. When I drag one of these animations to the timeline - a
box pops up and reads "the content of these files are unreadable."
Anyone else with similar problem after downloading? Any idea why I can see the Flash thumbnails, but they will not play or allowed to be dragged into timeline? Perhaps Flash patch is not installing?
I am not using any high definition equipment, is it worth upgrading from VS9 to 10+?

I have had problems with flash and still do in VS9 and I brought
VS!0+ recently and continue to have problems with flash. Black
screen appears and same popup window appears. My flash does not
work in internet explorer - not sure if the two are connected. At one point
in time, flash did work in VS9 and than one day opened it and flash
content did not work. I've worked around this problem and installed VS9 and VS10+ in a laptop (flash works) - so if I need flash, I make that part of the video with flash, create videofile, burn it as cd and load into my
main video on my desktop which does not have flash working. I would like not to have to go thru these extra steps. If you check the forums, other people have had the same problems with flash. Installing the
flash update did not resolve my problems.

Thanks for the advice!
I noticed that Flash works outside of VS9, in IE7, etc....it also works on my desktop VS9, but not laptop. Since I purchased download version of VS9, I cannot do a reinstall to repair any possible problems. Noticed free shipping special on VS10+ with Photoimpact 11 and I need PI for some photo work, so I may just buy the boxed free ship special and try to do an upgrade install. I will keep my eye open for any other help on the forum and try to post any developments here, if that would help you in your search for solutions.
