Videostudio will only capture part of a DVD

Post by Nigel Warner »

It is a short DVD -- eight minutes long, and there is no problem reading the DVD in, for example, RealPlayer. But for some reason video studio will only capture about two thirds of it.

Any thoughts on how to do with this?

Hi Nigel and welcome to the forums..:)

We need a little more information in order to help you.

1. Please complete your system information, found in your Profile page.

2. How are you importing the DVD into VideoStudio?

3. Have you tried copying the Video_TS folder to your harddrive and inserting it from there?

And another trick which sometimes works is to copy the DVD to your hard drive and rename the files with VOB extension to have .mpg instead...
