Access to Ripple Editing

Post by tonyc007 »

I have only recently started using MSP 7 and find it the easiest video editing package I've tried. I have one problem I can't solve and that is how to access the Ripple Edit facility. My "buttons" for this feature are greyed out and not accessible, nor can I change this feature in the drop down menu. I can only "Snap" or non Snap. My version is 7.00.1000. Do I need to update or add to it.
Thanks,

You need to switch off a/b roll editing mode.

Apart from that you do need to download and install the Service Pack 3. It won't make any difference to your problem (see Gorf's message), but it will avoid a number of other problems.
