I created a Blu-Ray disk on my Sony Vaio laptop using Ulead BD DiscRecorder for VAIO(R). It plays back great on the laptop using Intervideo WinDVD BD for VAIO but when I try to play on the Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-Ray player it can't play the disk.
Can the ULead software burn a Blu-Ray disk that can play on the Samsung player or do I need to buy a $20000 package like Sonic Scenarist to author true blu-ray disks?
Ulead BD DiscRecorder for VAIO playable on Samsung

It's been reported to Ulead / Sony several weeks ago and as I know it seems a firmware problem on the Samsung player and can be solved by updating the firmware. You need to contact Samsung for the issue.
Hope this helps.
