No audio when uploading DVD
I have this DVD I made with my friends and I want to make four parts and upload them. Unfortunately, when I click Capture -> Import from DVD/DVD-VR (select E: drive) the video is fine but the audio doesn't play. The file when played before uploading has the audio but when I save the file and then play it, it's only video. I heard that Video Studio 9 doesn't support AC-3 audio or something? A solution was to download the trial of VideoStudio 10 but that shouldn't be necessary.
Any help is appreciated.

If your version of VS9 has the letters SE after it, then it does not support AC-3. SE versions are usually bundled free of charge with hardware, and for licensing reasons, do not have Dolby AC-3. Dolby charges a fee for each use of its product, and it therefore does not make sense to the other software manufacturers to pay Dolby a fee on a free product.

You could try downloading this free AC-3 filter from here:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=AC3_Filter
Previous versions of it at least allowed you to import and decode a Dolby signal, but not to encode out in Dolby. However, I think the current version may even allow encoding in Dolby. I haven't tried it with either VS9 or 10. However, I used to use it with success on VS8.
