Loading Problem

Hey guys, I recently got VS9. I installed the software without any problem. Now when it comes to running the software, I am having issues. The program first starts up at the main screen with the option to select one of the 3 modes. No matter what mode I choose, the program closes on its own, giving me this error.

vstudio.exe-Application error

The instruction at "0x02599caf" referenced memory at"0x00000000".The
memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program

Can anyone please tell me what to do? Ive used the search feature and have found others with simular problems. However with the information the users have been given, no one has responded a reply, saying if the information given acctualy solved their problem.

Im also trying to complete a full reinstall of VS9, with the help of this guide.

However when I try to uninstall VS9 from add/remove I get this following error.
