DVD Brands with Printable Hubs????

Post by dbz2000 »

Sorry to bother the forum with such a mundane question; however, I remember reading a post here, I believe it was from Torsten Hoff, about a decent generic brand of DVD discs from Shop4tech.com. I have ordered from them twice and once I got the discs where the center hole was very small and the other ones had the regular wide opening.

I want to order only the ones with the small center opening, but I can't remember what they are called. I assumed it was called "printable hubs" but when I ordered them this last time, I got the wide center opening. If anyone can help with what name they use for the smaller center opening, I would appreciate your assistance. Thanks in advance!

btw i searched their site to get some clarification, but came up empty.

Be blessed! :)

The generic term is "full faced" i.e. it will print the full face of the disc but leaving a centre circle of approx 23 mm (a little under an inch) comprising a 4 mm wide band of plastic and the centre hole which is 15 mm in diameter.
