I don't speak very well english but i try to explain my problem.
I have Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE DVD and a JVC GR-540E DV camera. When i try to capture video, the quality is very bad and i can choose only WMV format and not another.
When i do the same with Windows Movie maker, the quality is very good.
Do you have an idea to help me ?

And, I could not find an English description of your camera! 
It appears to be a Mini-DV camera, so you should be able to transfer the DV from the tape to an AVI/DV file via a Firewire connection. In other words, the data/quality should be identical to the data on the tape... just inside an AVI "wrapper". I don't know what the problem is...
If you can't "capture" DV format with Video Studio, you can use Movie Maker to get the DV onto your hard drive. Once you have an AVI/D file on your hard drive, you can use Video Studio to edit and to make a DVD.
WMV is a highly compressed format. If the WMV is bad, it's going to get even worse when er-coded to MPEG-2 for the DVD.

I have capture my video with windows movie maker (AVI format) as you said with a very good quality, but Video studio don't recognize the format when i want to import the file !!!
I can't connect to Ulead support to declare my product because the access web don't work and to explain my problem.
