Help!I can't finished capture DV Format

I use VS8 when I've stop capturing, it's tell "Capturing Failed file create is corrupted and unusable" .I use Sony MSDV with 1394 and try all setting that could be possible .I need some help.Thank you.

Thank you for your Insrtuction but unfortunately I still have the same ploblem even follow your Instruction carefully.For more details I use Sony DCR PC108E camcoder miniDV tape and Snazzio I-link IEEE1394 Connect to my computer It seem ok for every things VS8 can work with Camcoder very well but the problem still occured when i capture in DV format only it cannot creat file after I've Stop capturing .So I try to capture in short period but it still the same it can not create captured file .How could I do? I want to created DVD what any option to complete this job Please advise. Anyway I've completed my profile already thank you for Notice .

Use Windows Movie Maker to capture DV.
VS capture doesn't work OK for me.

As X stated you can use Windows Movie Maker, or you can try the free program WinDV. It is a great light-weight app for capturing DV via firewire.

Thank you for all Instruction .For now I can captured from DV cam.So i try to install mainconcept video codec and then it works I can finished my capture.By the way after that I play back the clips it seem not fine because it doesnt show picture sometime even the audio have many crackle and speed was so faster than pictuer sometime too .This is not a new problem i will try to seek the solution from web board first, if i cant fix it may be I would ask for help you all again.Thank you for everyone so much for helping me.I got a lot helping from you all.Thank you.
