Is there a way to fix cues to clips in such a way that they would "follow" the clip even if it is moved to a different place on the Timeline?

Can cues be fixed to clips?

cues assigned to clips
Steve,
Thanks!
This MSP feature is really well hidden. Maybe I need to get that book as well.
Do you know if there is a way to apply such cues to clips that are already on the timeline?
I tried the following (am writing this out of memory, don't have MSP7 in front of me):
1. I select a clip, right click and choose "locate in Production Library"
2. I double click on the clip in the list to make it appear on the Source media window
3. I click F5 and a on the title bar of the Source media window I see that the clip has been cued
4. I click on Apply
...But no cue mark appears on the timeline.
Question: how to assign cues to clips which are already on the timeline?
Thanks again!

Maukka,
I'm getting further in the book and would definitely recommend it.
Under the View/Timeline display mode... menu, verify that you have the check box for 'show cue bar' set. This puts cue bar lines under each track. The individual cues for the clips themselves show up there as opposed to the timeline cue bar where you set timeline cues.
So you may have set the cues but just cannot see them.
Just curious, why bother finding the clip in the production library? Just double click on the clip itself in the timeline will put it in the source window directly.
Hope that helped,
Steve
