Hey Ladies and Gents.
I'm loving this editing alot and I've read the manual tried and tested abunch of stuff. But I learn by seeing.
I received like 4 video tuterals on the past and I've learnt how to do the effects.
I was wondering if their are other videos showing how to use msp 8.0?
MSP 8.0 Tuterals
The best tutorials are in Charlie Hill's book that comes with a CD-ROM of exercise projects. Fantastic and cheap!

Hi again Dabear
There seems a glut of MSP 8 tutorials, particularly video ones, about at the moment as MSP 8 is reletively new. If you haven't bought Charlie Hills' book or download, you might want to do so as everyone that has a copy says it's a smash hit!
Most of the stuff out there is MSP 7 based, but don't dispair as many are still relevant to MSP 8. Here's some links that I've used and found helpful (although they are mostly not video tutorials, they are clearly laid out in easy to follow steps - a lot of them in glorious technicolor!)

If you, or anyone else, find any other tutorials, particularly video tutorials, please share them. Like you, I find it easier to learn visually (or in my case 'monkey see, monkey do')

Charlie Hill's book 'Getting Results with MSP 8' is a must. Even if you're outside the US and have an exchange rate not in your favour, plus postage. The book is well worth it. It's easy to follow for a beginner and has many tips even an experienced editor can benefit from. There are many projects on an accompaning cd. Well done Charlie and thanks a bunch.

These MSP tutorials are GREAT. Are there any for Video Studio 9? I was thinking of upgrading from 9 to 10+, but the cost of upgrading to MSP is not really that much more. Would most of you prefer using VS product or MSP? I am a casual user, but I also keep in mind the 'room to grow' factor.

MSP Tutorial
I ordered the Charlie Hill book, "Getting results with MediaStudio" from Amazon.
'Just opened the pkg and found ONLY the CD! javascript:emoticon('')
HTH to read the CD and apply to MSP8 at the same time? DAM!!! Another $20 shot at this madness!
Not happy with that! If monkey read, monkey may do... but not at the same time.
Buyers beware that what you order is what you want!

Re: MSP Tutorial
I hate to come to a thread seven months late, but I had to ask about this one. First: did you ever get this worked out? If you only got a CD, it sounds like you got the MSP7 book. There is no CD-only option for MSP8. If you did order MSP8 and got a CD, then something really got messed up.Redester wrote:I ordered the Charlie Hill book, "Getting results with MediaStudio" from Amazon.
