Is there anybody out there that does this:
Create a project and specify an input video file (DV/AVI) as the source video. Then, some time later, add additional footage to the source video.
I could help but notice that DWS does not notice that the source video has grown and there does not seem to be any way to get DWS to notice. Therefore, it is impossible to add new bookmarks and the video is truncated at the original length. In order to right this wrong, I have to remove the source video from the project and then re-add it. This means that I loose ALL of my original chapter markers and thumbnail pictures and have to re-enter them.
Is it just me, or does this strike anybody else as an appalling oversight on the part of DWS? I can't be the only person on earth that needs to have DWS re-scan an input video source without killing all of the existing bookmarks...
Thanks to anybody that responds.

HELP! Extending Source Video in a Project
Save all your work -- maybe make a backup copy.
Close DVD WS.
Then rename the existing clip.
Make the new longer clip have a different name as well.
Open up DVD WS, make sure in Preferences you have it set to relink.
Then open your project, and relink to the new longer video (with the different name).
Let us know if that works...

George
