Can VS 9 create an mpeg file ?

Post by ghoofie »

I'm new to Videostudio.
I have some home videos I made into DVD's and the are TS files.

I was trying to import one of them into VS 9 and then want to save it
to my computer as an mpeg file. I successly imported the DVD movie
into VS. I can preview it and it looks fine. However, the only option
I've been able to find to save files is as a VSP, project. I tried 'share' tab and it will let me share to web, email, or even burn disc, but I haven't
been able to find where I can save it as an mpeg. Is that possible ?
Am I missing something ?

Thanks.

Share -> Create Video File.

Possibly use the "Custom" selection and specify your own settings if none of the default templates suit your needs.

Look for Share...create video file. There you can create a custom setting or use the default MPEG settings.

When you go "Share >> Create Video File" you should be offered these options :-

Thanks for the quick replies. Yep that was it.
I was not looking under "Share" because I thought
that was only for emailing your files, etc.
Worked perfectly. Sometimes ya feel like a dork, ya know? :)
