I've been using the version of DMF 3SE that came with my Hauppage PVR-150 capture card and finally decided to upgrade to DMF 5 based on the adzapper feature.
DMF 5 instantly recognized the card without having to install a driver pack ala 3SE, but for some reason it's not picking up inputs like it should.
When I click on Capture Video, the only source is Analog TV. If I select Advanced from the "TV Manager" option, I get an empty channel list, but when I try to auto-detect channels, the program runs through them too quickly to lock in on more than 1 or 2. Also, there's no option to select the RCA and S-Video ports.
I've checked Hauppage's support page, but it just links back to Ulead's drivers & patches page, which only goes up to DMF 4.
System Specs are:
DMF 5 / WinXP Home, SP2 / Hauppage WinPVR-150 / Intel P4 1.8 GHz overclocked @1.9 GHz / 1.5 GB DDR2700 / 400 GB storage (8 GB free on C:, 3 GB currently free on scratch/capture partition) / DVD-RW Drive 1 = Lite-On SOHW-1213S / DVD-RW Drive 2 = Samsung (TSSTcorp) TS-H552U
Can't Select Input form Haupage-150 in DMF 5
I have a Hauppauge PVR-250 that works fine in Movie Factory 5, I have akk the latest dirvers installed. Capture worked fine the first time.
You can capture with WinTV 2000 and edit with MF5 and use the Ad-Zapper.

Yeah, I've tried the latest Hauppage drivers. Unfortunately, they kill the MTS Stereo decoding on my system, so I'm using the previous version.
I can pull in video fine using the latest version of WinTV2K, so I don't think the drivers are at fault. Personally, I think it has more to do with Ulead not implementing the API correctly in DMF5 vs DMF3, especially since DMF 5's channel-changing interface will only allow you to use the channels that it auto-detected. I'll try re-running the patch for DMF 3 and see if that makes a difference.
