Hold last frame of clip

How can I hold the last frame of a video clip for a few seconds, before moving into a transition?

you could create a still picture of the last frame before the transition. then just adjust the length of the still pic, and then add the transition, that should do it.

Brilliant! I've now discovered the 'Save Current Frame as Image' option.
