i`m a professional PHOTOIMPACT USER
but i came across a BIG PROBLEM,
and i want to solve this issue!
here my problem:
lets say i have a picture 1600x1200 pixels,
i resize the picture down to 280x200 pixels,
then i save the image with 90% quality...
if i do this with PHOTOIMPACT-5,
it says "filesize will be 14kb"
so, i save the image and it has 14kb.
if i use PHOTOIMPACT 7, 8, XL, 10, or even 11...
the SAME PICTURE...
will have a file-size of 64kb !!!
how can this be the case ???
is the old version, much better than the NEW VERSIONs ???
i have BOUGHT all software ORIGINAL VERSIONs!!!
what do i wrong???
or, does it matter, wheter i buy the latest new version,
or if i buy a cheaper old boxed-version,
and these cheap-old-boxed-versions,
have this - limitation..not being able to save the files
with a smaller size???
I NEED TO KNOW - how to solve this - issue !!!
i mean, it is very stupid,
to use 2x versions of PHOTOIMPACT in order to get a good result!
right now, i use the NEW-version for editing,
and then i have to use the OLD-version,
in order to get my pictures - small enough - for my website!
this is - CRAZY!
i have already payed 50-USD for calling the european-support phone,
for ULEAD-EUROPE,
and i have spent alot of money, buying all these PHOTOIMPACT
versions... still no luck with this
!!! PLEASE HELP !!!!
