Multiple Audio Tracks

Post by gauravtj »

Hi,
I am using Ulead Videostudio 9. The movie I'm making requires multiple audio files playing at the same time(Rain and thunder, a person walking, some background music etc..). However, I find that videostudio has only two tracks, that is, Music Track and Voice Track. So, how can I add more tracks such that there is more than one music file all playing simultaneously??

Thanks!

Hi Gauravtj, and welcome to the forums..:)

With VideoStudio versions you are limited to just 2 audio tracks. There are workarounds to do what you are wanting to do.
  1. Create a sound file with the audio that you can fit on the available tracks. Then bring that back into VS, adding additional audio as needed. To create a Soundfile you go to Share>Create Sound File.
  2. A second method involves using a third party audio editor, like Audacity. With Audacity you can have numerous tracks, then export it to a single file. Then insert that file into VS.
Ulead does have a program MediaStudio Pro that allows up to 99 audio and video tracks, and multiple timelines. This program, while more expensive then the VideoStudio program, may be more of what you are needing, if on a regular basis you need several audio tracks.
