Videostudio 9
using jpeg stills for a photo montage. I save vsp then render it into a mpeg file by creating a video file, go out of project, open new project go to create disc and insert the mpeg as "add video" After a while it says disc burned sucessfully, then go to play on dvd player, it says no disc. I have tried this with 5 dvds.
vs 9 dvd burned but can't play

What format did you burn it too? MPEG-2 DVD compliant:
What speed are you burning the disc? It is recommended not to exceed 4x. This can cause the problems like yours.

Can you right click on your mpeg file within Video Studio and copy down its properties here, please. Normally, slideshows are Frame Based, though getting that wrong would not produce the result you describe.
Follwing on from what Pedro has said, depending on exactly what you clicked in the last page of the burning module, the program may have produced a Video_TS folder (or perhaps an ISO image file) of your 'burned' project. Go to the working folder indicated in the 'Settings and Options' icon in the bottom left of the burning module screen and see if anything is there like that. If there is, then you should be able to play it on your computer with a software DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD... If it plays correctly and you are happy, then you can use a third party program like Nero to burn it to disc or, if it is indeed an ISO image file, even the VCD DVD Disc Image Recorder which comes as part of the Video Studio package.
