Wrong final dimension of DVD

Hi, I have a problem with dvd movie factory 5,when I try to convert a video ( avi-divx 700 mb , 1:44 hours) to dvd whit bitrate around 5500 whit ac3 audio,the program show a final out dimesion of around 4-4,2 gbs but at the end of the conversion the dvd results 3,2 gb. Why ? thanks

Because the originally stated size is only an estimate. DivX is a codec that use extremely high compression rates while retaining good picture and sound quality. MF cannot know from the outset what may be encountered. It therefore uses an estimation to guess the final size.

Do you like the quality you get with the conversion? If yes, be happy with what you get.
