VS10 crashes when selecting AUDIO tab

Hi Gents,

When i select the audio tab, vs10 crashes:
AppName: vstudio.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.0 ModName: u32zlib.dll
ModVer: 11.0.0.0 Offset: 00004456

This also happens when from the timeline view the sound fragment on the music or voice track is selected.

But when i select "AUDIO VIEW" or go to the audio in the library manager, vs10 makes the switch to the audio tab with no problem. I can select the audio en voice fragment, change the band etc.

The result is the same with a new VS10 project and a VS9 project.

Anybody has a idea what is causing the crash?

did you ever get an answer or solution to the problem? I have 10+ and experience the same problem.

Hi

To be honest I have no idea as to why VS crashes other than a bad install.

I would start by reinstalling the Indeo Driver.

Then I would Install Quick Time Version 6, I have had problems running QT 7.

If that does not improve things I would do a clean install of all ulead products.

I re-installed VS10, it looks working fine again.
Ulead support give the advise also for a fresh install, after cleaning up some folders and registry by hand.
BTW i was missing the folder {E188D820etc. in the regedit window and in Program Files\Installshield Installation Information

Stil is there the question, what happend and when?

After the first install it worked also, after 2 projects was the trouble with the audio.
