You gave me the information I needed. I cannot believe that Ulead has such a flawed protection. Just as I was going to buy, now I am having second thoughts.

hi guys i have the same problem what is the solution?

ive formatted xp 2 times :s i thought its a spyware or viruses

I was getting the same message but I didn't realize until now that it was Ulead that was causing it. Thanks guys.

I've just used MSConfig to stop the Ulead pre-loader (uvPL.exe) from executing on startup and the message has gone away. voila!
Thanks, Agent49! That did the trick for me. For info on using MSConfig to disable startup applications, look here: http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig . You might also read Paul "PacMan" Collins' "Startup Applications" list at http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php to see what other unnecessary items you can disable.

Hi, I have the same problem and I'm on deadlines here. I'm using a full, not a trial version.
