Thanks, Agent49! That did the trick for me. For info on using MSConfig to disable startup applications, look here: http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig . You might also read Paul "PacMan" Collins' "Startup Applications" list at http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php to see what other unnecessary items you can disable.I was getting the same message but I didn't realize until now that it was Ulead that was causing it. Thanks guys.
I've just used MSConfig to stop the Ulead pre-loader (uvPL.exe) from executing on startup and the message has gone away. voila!
