When you have finished editing - go to "Share >> Create Video File" then you can choose to save your video to a new file in many different formats (.avi, .mpg, etc. )

Don't quite know what you mean - the screen size is gray - are you looking in the right place.

When you choose 'Share >> Create Video File' you should get choices like this :-

If the size you want is not among those offered then choose 'Custom' and select a new .wmv template.

Create your custom template another way.
Tools : Make Movie Manager

Your new template will then appear in the list as shown by BrianCee above.

I think there is no option for 640x480 in VideoStudio's WMV format.
WMV is for internet and 640*480 is too bandwidth-hungry for this.

VideoStudio is primarily intended to make DVDs, and its default options are tailored to that.

In the share/custom dialog, you need to select an MPEG format first, instead of WMV,
then in the Options dialog you first go to compression
and deselect DVD because 640*480 is not a standard,
but select MPEG-2 and then back to the General tab you will be able to select 640*480

EDIT:

Alternatively instead of Create Video File you could select the Share Video On-line button, there if you select Best Quality WMV you get 640*480...

I take the last quality( 1400kbps) and I stay at 320*200. I cant change the resolution :'(
