burning DVD from Disk Image file Error Out of Disk Space

MovieFractory 3.0SE which was bundled with ADS DVD Express.
PROBLEM
After making an image copy of a DVD - I receive an "out of disk space" error message when trying to burn the image copy to a DVD+R
I tried several new DVD+R disks and keep getting the same message.

I later was able to play the DVD and produce a copy via an External DVD player > capturing the video > burn a DVD.

I tried repeating the Image copy >then burning a DVD using DVD's I had produced myself and this error keeps appearing. No changes were made - hardware or software.
