Undo button no longer works

HI there,

First time to the site , So I would like to say Hello & I hope you can help.

SYS: Win XP Pro
Machine with Problem: Celeron 2.8GHZ
512MB Ram.

I have reinstalled PI11 twice now & still I am getting the same problem with that PI11 will not undo or go back on any work that I have done..

I must admit that I am not the only one that usess this PC ( Family) as I have my own & have no problem with my one yet I cannot figure out why this one will not undo?
Is there some whaere that I am not looking ? Or maybe a seeting I have missed? I have looked everywhere I think? Can someone help?

Thanks for any help you give in advance.. you guys do a lot & it's good to have someone there.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Not only in PI 11, when you open the program go to menu bar, File >Preferences >General. Category PhotoImpact shows a selection window "Enable Undo", this needs to be ticked and the levels of undo to be set. I have mine set to 4 and save my work in between manually with alternating names. This allows me to go back to a previous stage without exhausting my memory by forcing the system to remember too many steps.
