error with video studio 2 SE and 3 trial

I bought an Avermedia TV tuner card 500 a little while back and I got with it VideoStudio 7 SE and Moviefactory 2 SE. I record some TV shows and and trim the commercials out using VS 2 SE. When im done I put them into NTSC DVD format and save it too my drive. Then when I use MF SE it gives me errors when im trying to record it like this

Failed to record data to the disc
Error DVD+R-SPTI-2A-02-03-OC-00
[93006:1:0]

Now i was thinking about trying the latest version of MF so I downloaded the MF3 trial and see. Now I get these errors

Failed to record data to disc. Error DVD+R
[14252:1:0]

I using..

Samsung write master
Verbitam 16X wright DVD
These discs are blank
(Also MF2 SE has its patches)

I was reading some other posts and i saw that people where just making the files then using Nero to burn them? But thats not the point. These features should work with this program. Any suggestions?

Check if the "Burner Patches" from Ulead's support pages will apply to the Trial version.

I dont think you can update the trial versions. It tells me it cant find MF3 on my system. This software is getting me a little mad. Im reading these other forums and i hear nothing but complaints. Any more suggestions?
