Burning problem to DVD from Ulead Videostudio
I have sucessufully created an edited video using Ulead Videostudio 8 and placed it in My Documents/My Videos. I have tried to use the Ulead Create Disc facility and it gets to the point of actually burning the disc, but then I get the following error message: 'Failed to record data to the disc. ERROR DVDR-INC-SPTI-2A-02-03-0C-00. My DVD burner is HL-DT-STDVDRAM GSA and I was using a DVD-R 4.7 Gb disc. What am I doing wrong?

Cannot burn ISO image
Ulead VS10 allows me to create a DVD ISO image but I haven't been able to find a way to burn it. I have an older version 6 with DVD Factory that allowed me to do it but is there a way in the new version? Is the only way to create the DVD folders and then burn it? I had a problem when I chose Create Disk and tried to burn the DVD directly, it died.
Thanks,

Without more information about the file properties, project properties, work flow and computer resources you are using, it is impossible to suggest a reason. It could be because of a number of factors:
1) Incorrect (or not recommended) work flow -- going straight from a project in one format in the timeline to the burning stage (Share > Create Disc) without first producing a DVD-compatible file ( Share > Create Video File > DVD) -- read the Recommended Procedure in the first sticky post;
2) A packet writing software program such as Nero's InCD taking over your burning drive (uninstall InCD or disable other similar programs);
3) Something not DVD-compatible about a file or files you are seeking to burn;
4) Your burner does not like the brand of disc you are using;
5) selecting too high a burn speed (we suggest no more than 4x);
6) Possibility you have an SE version which is heavily crippled and does not allow burning of disc.
All that being said, I regularly only produce a DVD Video_TS folder of my projects, and burn them in Nero -- though I *can* use the VS10 burning module if I want and it works fine. It's just that I usually make a few copies of my 'masterpieces' for distribution to family and friends. It is easier to burn multiple copies this way (or by producing an ISO image file).
