NEC ND 3500AG

Post by sslneve »

Hello,

I can't seem to burn with my _NEC ND 3500AG. I got every DVDWS and burning patch. Towards the end of the burning procedure, an error appears. I can burn the iso image with Nero without any problem. If the error doesnt appear (in DVDWS), the disc is stilll not correct! Chapters at the end of the disc do not play the content at the end of the title but rather from the beginning of the disc, i.e. it seems like coming towards the end of the disc the title starts again from the beginning. Dunno if I made myself clear. Again: If I burn the iso with Nero, there is no problem. So, it's not a mistake in the authoring or the title or whatever you might think. It's a burning problem.
Any help appreciated.

oh btw: is there a difference between NEC and _NEC? my writer is listed in the device manager as _NEC blahblah ... is that normal or would it be normal if it said NEC with the underscore?

Well, I should have written it down .... the error comes to attention in the way I explained. And this is very annoying to me.... and dangerous, if there is no error message.

Windows XP Pro SP1
Burner is connected to Secondary IDE, Master, while an DVD-ROM drive is secondary slave. both connected by an "UDMA-cable"
