Plain Borders

Post by Quincon »

I have used IPhoto Express 1 for a number of years to provide a plain border to images so that I could provide a place in which I could describe the image or person in it and do this without altering the image.

I no longer have the original set up disks and would like to access this sam tool.

I have Photo Express 6.

Any suggestions?

What do others do?

Hi! :)

One way to I would go about re-creating your image with a blank border: Begin by 'creating' a blank picture of the size you'll need (larger by whatever factor you determine than your picture), then pasting your picture into thnis as an object and centering it within the blank. This should give yu a plain border.

Or, you can use the rectangle shape under the 'Selection' tools, use it cut out your entire picture, drag the resulting copy down to the bottom bar (this will make it a new image) and then re-size the plain 'background' and center your picture within it.

I hope one of these helps - if I wasn't as clear in my instruction as I could possibly be, I'm sorry ~ feel free to ask any questions or have me clarify any of it.

Good Luck!
