Hey guys,
I refer my original problem.
"When I capture a still frame it squeezes the image"
I'm having no problem capturing a still image. My problem is I am editing 16:9 with letterbox. When I capture the letterboxed image it converts and resizes it to 720x576 pixel image, which of course is completely useless.

Hi Michael
I am also referring to 16:9 format.
When you say squeeze the image , do you mean the image is distorted?
OK
You select ‘project playback’ by clicking the word ‘Project’ adjacent to the start button.
If your project properties are set to 16:9
Tools—Save Current Frame as Image will capture the frame to 1024p x 576px
A thumbnail of the image will be placed in the library, right click this and select properties.
Do they indicate the size 1024 x 576 ?
Are you saying that your captured image is 720 x 576 or 1024 x 576 squashed down (distorted)
If it is 720 x 576 then your project properties may be 4:3.
Have a look at ‘16:9 a look at widescreen’ from the link below.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the advice. My project properties display was set to 16:9 but my frame size was 720x576. So when I went clip/save frame it was greyed out. So then I changed the frame size to 704x576 and everything worked and the still was perfect.
Thank again for your help and assistance.
