No one out there to help me??? MF5

Post by david moore »

I really feel i wasted my money on MF5. I've had problems from day one.
Despite having emailed ulead support several times, they just dont answer.
MF5 works fine for me in video mode. No problems, BUT! it will NOT function in "edit disc" mode. I use a +rw disc from a dvd recorder, alter the menus etc and it continually fails to burn in the final stages and returns to the menu. Also, any info that I had on the disc is failed to be read in future applications. I have tried this program on 3 of my PC's. 3 different operating sytems. NO LUCK. I even download the "trial" version. DOES the same thing. I am an expert in MF4. Use it everyday. NO PROBLEMS.
Help, help...like the TV series I'm Lost!

I personally think that you should export the edited clips and the close the program. Restart the program and load the exported clips and burn them on to the disk. I hope it helps.

I used to have problems burning with MF3 or MF4 like this. So I just create the DVD files to hard disk then use nero to burn them.

5 weeks and no reply, yes it's normal - as well as the crashing part. Just wonder why they released it without fixing the thing first.
