Hello! I am trying to use the Album Effect Transition for my slideshow video, and I keep getting this message: No Initialization-3428:104:215
Does anybody know what could be wrong?
Thank you,

Many of the forum users have reported that some of the album transitions are a bit flunky and for some users do not work.
I am one of the lucky ones in so far as the ones I have used all worked.
Having said that they are very very slow to render. If I want to use any in my productions I tend to render a video just of the part containing these transitions overnight.
Interestingly Version 10+ contains fewer album transitions. This raises speculation that certain transitions may have had issues and so were dropped from the line up.
My best advice - don't use too many perhaps a dozen maximum. Then render a video of just that part of the project and do it overnight.

Album Effect
Thank you for your fast reply. I appreciate it very much.
Unfortunately, I can't use the album transition at all. I keep getting that error message. Everything else in VideoStudio9 works well, but the Album transition effect. Do you think it's because I may not have much usuable harddrive yet? Or, could it be that when I loaded VideoStudio9, I did not load the album part of the software?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you all and so glad I found this place!

Janell,
I dont' think it has anything to do with hard drive space. However if you can see the album transitions in the library then they should be installed. The album transitions have been a problem. If you get them to work, and as Steve pointed out, they take forever to render.
The only other solution I can think of is to do a Repair (if you have the Full version CD (not the backup CD) or re-install the program.
I think it's a Ulead thing...
