I need to split up a single file (avi or mpeg) into 8mb chunks and save them all in one shot using some kind of auto-sequencing numbering for the resultant file names.
I know there are "mpeg splitter" applications out there, but I already own VS8. Is there some tool somwhere in the software that will allow me to do this?

Mastersplitter, you'll need it to put it back together too.
You can also make split zip files with most zipping programs but you'll need whatever program that split them to put them back together.
