CD DVD Picture Show V4 doesn't like MP3s

I recently completed a project in which I had several MP3s. In the process of converting the slideshows, the program repeatedly aborted at the same place each time.

After reading the hints here, I began to replace all the MP3s with WAV files. Interestingly, I then got an error when the program was converting the menus. Turns out that the default choice is for the DVD menues to have a default MP3. I deleted that option.

That's right--Picture show defaults to give you an MP3 on its menues--a file that causes the program to abort.

Once all the MP3s were removed from the slide show, I was able to burn it without errors. (Took me 3 days to get to this solution.)

Overall I've found this product to be quite buggy and prone to shut down without warning.
