VS8 Chapters Disappear

I created an entire project and burned it DVD. I noticed an audio problem and openedn the project and changed the volume on one music track. Next I went to make another DVD and the chapters were missing. I didn't save and opened the project again and the chapters were there. I adjusted the volume again and the chapters were missing agian. What is going on? Why are the chapters disappearing? I am using custom chapters and it took a long time to create them. Do I have to recreate the chapters for each change I make???

Not much help I know but I have also encountered this problem before with VS8 and also VS7, I think.

Everytime you make a change to the project all of your chapters and menu pages disappear, really annoying. I have lost count of the times I have had to recreate them.

Anyone out there know a way round ?

Simple solution .
Once you created all your chapters back out of the create disc window and SAVE your project! This will also save your DVD authoring work.
