Sorry, I'm not a regular user of PhotoImpact but I have a client that is submitting some images to me for a website I maintain for him. This is the issue he's presented to me:
Photoimpact v8
He's creating a full page image 800x1000 (height is not exact but width is correct), he's adding red text to a grey background. When he first adds text and previews it in his browser (IE) the text looks fine but when he closes the browser, adds more text, then previews again the original text is clear but the new text is "blurry" (I assume he means pixelated). If he saves the image and reopens it the same results, the first text is clear but the second set (or line) is blurry. Any ideas as to why this is occuring? I'm not 100% familiar with PI so I don't know if there's a setting that maybe resampling the image or compressing the image that would cause a second view to do this...he just called as I'm writing this and says that it only occurs when he views it thru the PhotoImpact>Browser Preview. If he saves it and opens directly in IE it looks good. Still what's up with the PI preview?
Thanks in advance,
Txwebman
