MF5 - DVD-VR-Import (DVD-RAM) - DVD-Parameter wrong

Hey Guys!

When I do import a DVD-VR file from a DVD-RAM, it says "DVD parameter wrong" at the end of the import and the DVD-file cannot be imported. Thats quite strage though, it just worked fine with the 30-days-testversion, but now with the buying-version this error is shown. I just tried a new-installation and other DVD-RAMs (recorded with a DVD-Recorder Panasonic), but the problem is still the same.

Has anybody any idea what I can do now?

Hi MD!

Thanks for your quick reply. Now I found out, that I can also not import any DVD-file - a message from MF5 says: Report-ID:0x800408fe(2302).

The only thing I changed after the istallation of the buying-version is that I also installed the new Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0. Maybe this causes some problems due to the pre-active-shield of the virus-engine.

Does anybody has ever has this Report-ID?

Hi MD!

It's a TEAC DV-W28E. It can read and write DVD-RAM.
I will go and try this other DLL. But strange though it worked with the trial-version fine...

Hi MD!

I just did it as you suggested right, but it didnt work. Now its time for me to send this "buggy" software back to the reseller.

I'm not a computer specialist nor have I time to install-re-install-install 4 or 5 times the software before it will run fine. Until now I did not get any feedback from the Ulead-Support. Now I will try another software like Nero 7.

I will thank especially MD for your help and hope other users will be more happy with MF5 than me.

I'm also having the exact same error trying to import vro files from DVD-RAM recorded on a Panasonic desktop recorder. The drive in the computer is a Pioneer A08.

This is with MF4, which I got for the specific purpose of importing these files.

I'm going to try your suggestions and see if I can make it work and post the results.
