How can the working folder (used on the last screen of create disk - ie the 'burn' screen) be changed from the C: drive?
I thought that I could change it in preferences (uder the General tab - Working folder) but I have that set to E:\TEMP yet in 'create disk' (last screen') it displays C:.
Unfortunately I don't have 4.6Gb free space (required to create the disk) and so want to use my E disk.
Videostudio v9
Thanks
John

Yeah, sneaky that one isn't it?
The working folder under the genral tab is for the VS editor part of the program.
The burning module seems to be almost a standalone program. When you have the module open (Create Disc) click the icon next to the gearwheel down the bottom of the screen. There you will find yet another "working folder" setting. This one is diferent from the one you mention in your post. You can change it to wherever you want.

Wow
I just went to delete this posting as in the meantime I worked out where the preferences are for create disk. When I di relist the posting I found that there were two replies already- thanks guys for the very prompt replies.
And as one of you mentiones - it is a "sneaky one".
I had NO problems working this out in VS8, so why did Ulead make this so difficult to find. Not very intuitive as far as I am concerned. I guess I should click on anything displayed just in case they happen to open a menu.
Anyway thanks again
