Is there a way to splice 2 clips together. I would like to put a woman's legs on a man's body if it's possible. Overlay doesn't look right.

You're right..
VS or MSP are video editing programs. The program is not capable of doing image editing, where you cut and paste parts of one object onto another.
For this you will need a rotoscoping program, like Ulead's Video Graphics Lab. V.G.L. has both a rotoscoping (Video Paint) and CG Infinity (vector creation, and animation program. It used to be included with MSP, but for MSP8 t was removed and made a stand-alone app.
