Audio Trim/Edit Issue
This may be a stupid question, but can you enable audio when you are editing video in the time line or jog? As someone who has edited linear for 20 years, I edit clips by audio, more than video. Adobe Premiere has this capability--unfortunately that program has serious sync issues when editing MPEG 2. I'm using version 8

Not quite sure what your asking - if you mean should you be able to hear the audio when playing clips in the edit mode then the answer is yes - if you cannot you have something wrong somewhere - do you have volume turned up in UVS8 - what exactly are you doing.
If you are asking should you hear audio when you fast forward using the jog bar then no - it would be to fast and garbled any rate.

Do you want mute the audio without editing the video, right? Like mute or "bleep" the foul language?
Here's a summary of what I did:
- I used the share screen to create a wave file.
- I used an audio editor (Goldwave) to edit the audio... but I didn't make any edits that would change the length, or timeline-sync.
- I simply used the edited wave file as the soundtrack for my DVD.
"lip-sync" problem... right?) I''ve been trying-out Womble Video Wizard. I haven't had the sync problem with it. Additionally, it seems to cross-fade the audio during a transition. Video Studio seems to hard-splice the audio at the end of the transition. I'll probably purchase the Womble editor soon... before the trial period is ends

Hmmm... Unfortunately, I've had the same problem with Video Studio! (...Looks like a badAdobe Premiere has this capability--unfortunately that program has serious sync issues when editing MPEG 2.
