I apologize if this has been covered (and I'm sure it has). I searched the forums and got some info regarding following the correct steps to burn a DVD.
I am using the Video Studio 9.o SE that came with my ADS capture device. I have a new Dell PC with a DVD burner, Win XP Pro.
I have been able to capture and create Mpegs that work great when viewing in Windows Media Player. The sound is good and the video fine too.
The problem I am having is taking those Mpegs (about 10 Mpegs
) and getting them on the DVD. When sharing and creating a DVD, I've tried adding them by themselves, adding them as Video Studio Projects. Everything looks great but then when I go to burn the DVD, it takes forever and end the end does nothing........I think it says "creating menus" or something like that, I let it run overnight and it still did nothing.
I was able to use a program that came with the computer from Roxio and I actually was able to make a DVD by inserting the 10 Mpegs. Problem is that in several of he chapters, video and or audio was distorted and voices did not match the video. I double checked the original Mpegs on Windows Media Player and those same Mpegs had no problems with Audio sync or video jumping.
Again sorry if this is a big rehash. I am very experienced in design and graphics but very new to video. I had no idea that it would take me 10+ hours of time invested to make a 2 hour DVD
Thanks for your help
