VS 10 freezes after making 1 DVD when making multi discs
When I am making mulitple copies of my project, my computer copletely locks up when I go to put the 2nd disk in. I have used VideoStudio 8 and loved it. I wanted to upgrade and am runnign into problems. Very frustrated, glad I didn't purchase before tring! Any suggestions?

Are you sure that some other disc burning programme is not starting as it sees you put a new disc in - thus conflicting with UVS, for instance I have Iomega Hot-burn Pro and every time I put a blank disc in it insists on starting and I have to cancel it before I can continue with what I was doing - maybe you have Nero or Roxio etc. which are also trying to start .
I never found burning multiple discs in one go a very satisfactory way of making a lot of copies anyrate - I find it much more convenient to make an .iso file or even DVD Folders and then just use those to make multiple DVDs at convenient times for me - not all in one session

Thank you for your help. No I don't think there is another program tring to start, if never did with VS 8 anyways. I am going to do some more checking into it however. All I know is it locked my computer completly up, no Ctrl, Alt, Del, nothing
Making an .iso file or DVD Folders how does that work, does it take away the transcoding (I think that is what it is called) time away and only have burn time? That would be so much better for me!

On the final page of the burn module (the one with the 'Burn' icon on it) are options to create an .iso file and/or DVD folders.
You still have to do the 'transcoding' once - the first time when you create the files - but after that you either just use any DVD copying programme to copy your DVD folders from your PC to the DVD - or if you are using the .iso you use the Ulead DVD/VCD Disc Image recorder to burn as many DVDs as you need.
Create the .iso file in UVS as explained above - then go via "Start >> All Programs > Ulead VideoStudio 10 (8, 9 etc.) >> VCD DVD Disc Image Recorder" then use the 'open' button at the top of the new window to browse to your .iso file and burn it to disc.
Both these options you can do at any time - in versions before 10 the new .iso file had a habit of overwriting any previous ones - but in 10 it is now given a meaningful name - so you can if you want keep it forever.
