SUBJECT: Problem with loop point when titles end in menus


Nature of the problem: When smn has more than 1 menus with titles, the last title of each menu, does not stop, so go back to eah main menu it 'belongs", but keeps playing the title of the next menu

Properties of your source files:

Files are always Mpeg2 DVD Compliant, 720x576, ~8000 b/r cbr, 25000 fps - The files have been captured with my pinnacle video card...many years of use, no prob here...

What devices are involved and their mode of connection?

My vcr playing the analogue VHSs and my capture video card (again...no prob here...)

So, Hi Gyus..

I need your help here, with sth that seems realy easy to deal with, but it starts breaking my nerves..since i cant find the solution..

So, here's the problem:

Imagine that you have let's say 4 videos (titles) mpeg (same features as mentioned above), and for some reason you want to split these 4 titles in 2 menus..so as to have 2 in each menu.
Its Ok up to here, i build everything nice and easy.
So, I choose first menu, insert my 2 titles, then put the "Play All" button and the "Go To Next Menu" button.
Afterwards, i proceed with the next menu doing exactly the same steps...as described above.

Now, here comes the problem:
You see, i find myself on the first menu, and if i choose to play each title seperately, everything is ok, since when each title reaches its end, it stops, going back to menu...BUT BUT BUT, if i choose to play them all in sequence, with the "Play All" button i added on the menu...WHEN the last title of the first menu reaches to its end...AND I EXPECT IT TO STOP AND GO BACK TO THE MAIN MENU (NR 1 MENU--remember), it continues by itself, and starts playing the video (title) of the SECOND MENU.
So, i believe that the solution to the problem is the "LOOP" mode, that will give to the programme to "understand"...that "HEY, THIS IS THE LAST TITLE OF THE FIRST MENU, STOP HERE, RETURN TO MAIN MENU 1, SINCE IT'S IN MY HAND TO WATCH THE VIDEOS (TITLES) IN THE SECOND MENU WHEN I WANT TO..AND DONT DO IT BY YOURSELF..."

So, where can smn put the loop point that will make the videos of the first menu stop when the last one comes to its end, go back to the main menu and wait there until, you give the order with the control about what to do, what to play, go to second menu...etc..

"Play all" does what it says, it plays all. Forget about loops. Make a button Play titles 1 and 2 and drag onto the playlist, in order, Title 1, Title 2, Main Menu.
