No, No, No, you don't have to get rid of Roxio, just make sure the Drag to Disk is closed or disabled before inserting any discs. I think I would just disable it before beginning work on any video.
With VS10+, after creating the ISO you can use the VCD/DVD Disc Image Recorder application to burn the disc. It is a stand-alone application. To access it, go to Start>All Programs, Ulead Video Studio 10. Then on the menu you should see the application.

I think it is making sence. I don't leave other applications open when I am working on videos but I will double check that nothing is running in the back ground. These programs have a nasty way of sneaking into the background and fouling things up.
Thank you for your help let me play with things a bit and see if I can get a proceedure that will work consistantly.
